Sonic the Hedgehog two plot
An official plot synopsis has now been unveiled for the sequel, which reads: "After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove that he has what information technology takes to be a truthful hero.
"His examination comes when Dr. Robotnik returns with a new partner, Knuckles, in search of a mystical emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations.
"Sonic teams up with his ain sidekick, Tails, and together they embark on a globe-trotting journey to find the emerald earlier it falls into the incorrect hands."
The advent of Tails is not particularly surprising – he did briefly appear in the mail service-credits scene at the end of the outset moving picture, and the title font for the sequel too heavily hinted at his involvement this time effectually.
